Tourists can experience “Momijigari” - which means viewing red leaves in Japanese - in forests across the land of the rising sun, according to the Japan National Tourism Organization in Vietnam (JNTO).

Musashi Kyuryo National Forest Park

Located in Namegawa Town, Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture, Musashi Kyuryo National Forest Park is known for its landscape that changes with the four seasons. The autumn leaf season here usually starts from mid to late November, the maple and ginkgo trees will turn extremely brilliant red and yellow, attracting visitors to come and enjoy.

In addition, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Momijiminaito Park, the “Momijiminaito” event will be held at night at “Maple Garden”, about a 10-minute walk from the main gate. Here, more than 500 red maple trees of 20 different varieties will be lit up in red, yellow, orange, etc., creating a sparkling space.

Nara Park

Besides Musashi Kyuryo National Forest Park, Nara Park is also an ideal place to "hunt" for red leaves in Japan. This is a park in Nara city (Nara prefecture) with a history of more than 1,300 years and is also home to 8 cultural heritages registered as World Heritage with the title of Historic Heritage of Ancient Nara.

From late October to early December, the park will be covered in the brilliant colors of maple leaves and ginkgo leaves, creating a perfect scene in harmony with ancient structures such as Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Kofukuji Temple and Todaiji Temple. In addition to the historical structures, the park also has extremely rich natural landscapes. When coming here, visitors can experience feeding deer and visit places such as: Isuien Japanese Garden, Ukimido gazebo, and Wakakusa Mountain.

Naeba Cable Car

Naeba Dragondola is located at Naeba Ski Resort, Niigata Prefecture, and is the longest ropeway in Japan with a total length of 5.5 km. From early October to late November, the scenery here will be covered in red leaves, creating a romantic and beautiful natural picture like a painting.

Dragondola cable car opens from 9am to 3pm from 5.10 - 4.11 to serve the needs of visitors to see red leaves.
