When camping in Sa Pa, the weather is an important factor to consider. Sa Pa is always cool in all seasons. In winter from December to February, the air in the mountains will be very cold, different from in the city. You need to bring warm clothes to keep warm. The ideal time to camp is during the flood season (May-June) or the rice harvest season (August-September), or the cloud hunting season (September-November). Visitors should avoid camping overnight on rainy days because flash floods or landslides are likely to occur.
