Ha Giang City is located in the Northeast mountainous region, about 300km from the capital Hanoi. The mountainous terrain with steep slopes, divided by rivers and streams, the mountain town also has majestic scenery that is no less than other districts in the same province.

Day 1
Morning
Early morning, take a bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang, stop for lunch at the stop in Tuyen Quang province.
Afternoon

Just over 100m from the museum is the city's central square and the Km0 milestone. The starting point of National Highway 2, connecting Ha Giang and Hanoi, attracts many tourists to check-in every time they visit Ha Giang city. For many tourists, the Km0 milestone marks the beginning of a journey to explore the challenging rocky plateau.
Evening
Stroll around the city center to discover night food spots such as ga tan, congee au tau... Day 2
In the morning, from the hotel, move to the cultural and tourist village of Ha Thanh hamlet, Phuong Do commune, about 5km from the center of Ha Giang city. This is the main residence of the Tay ethnic group.
In addition to the opportunity to meet and learn about the agricultural life and cultural customs of the indigenous Tay people, visitors can also admire the peaceful scenery of the Tay village and visit the blue-green waterfall number 6 hidden in the forest.
In the afternoon, go to Khuoi My village, Phuong Do commune to admire the green moss-covered stilt houses of the Dao ethnic group. Visitors arriving at noon can order a local meal at the homestay, walk on the road covered with yellow wild sunflowers, and admire the majestic terraced fields amidst the mountains.
About 23km from Ha Giang city is Noong lake in Phu Linh commune, Vi Xuyen district. The lake is formed from two swamps Pum Ang and Pum Yeu with clear blue water flowing from large caves nearby.
During the flood season, the lake is full and bustling with floating rafts for tourists to enjoy the specialties on the rafts. During the dry season, when the water recedes, Noong Lake reveals a sloping bank covered with grass like a miniature prairie, suitable for picnics.
In the late afternoon on the way back to the city, visitors should not forget to stop by Cam Mountain Coffee, a check-in address, watching the sunset of the mountain town. From here, visitors can look out over Ha Giang city with the Lo River flowing through and surrounded by towering rocky mountains.
In the evening, take a sleeper bus back to the capital. Buses usually depart at 9pm or 10pm and arrive in Hanoi at 5am the next day.
