To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, Ho Chi Minh City will organize a high-altitude fireworks display at Saigon Riverside Park (Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City) from 9:30 p.m. to 9:40 p.m.
In addition to crowded public places, people and tourists can choose to watch fireworks from hotels, cafes... to avoid jostling. Here are the places that tourists can refer to for the evening of April 26.
Rooftop Smoke
Located on Phu My Street, Binh Thanh District, this is one of the coffee shops with a beautiful location to watch the fireworks on April 26. The restaurant is located on the 6th and 7th floors, so it has a 360-degree view, and you can fully enjoy the fireworks from Saigon Riverside Park.
On April 26, the restaurant did not collect additional fees. However, customers need to arrive early to book a table. The restaurant opens from 4:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., with drinks priced from 100,000 - 300,000 VND.
Song Bar
The shop is located on the 40th floor of Hilton Hotel, Me Linh Site Street, District 1. The shop is located in the middle of the "golden triangle" Ben Nghe - Ba Son - Bach Dang, so the fireworks view is almost "no dead angle". The shop space is not too big, creating a sense of privacy.
However, in return, the price of drinks here is relatively high. On April 26, the restaurant does not charge an entrance fee, customers only need to pay for drinks according to the menu.
On the night of April 30, the restaurant collected nearly 1.2 million VND/guest from entrance tickets.
Saigon Saigon
Located on the 9th floor of Caravelle Hotel, Lam Son Industrial Park, District 1, this is an ideal place to watch fireworks from Ba Son Bridge and the Saigon River tunnel.
Opened in 1959, Saigon Saigon was a press center during the war against the US. This was a safe haven for many war reporters at that time. The restaurant opens from 4pm - 1am, serving cocktails and beer, priced from 150,000 VND/ loai.
Renaissance Riverside Hotel
The hotel is located on Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1, with a panoramic view of the entire fireworks display on the evening of April 26.
If you want to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere above, visitors can get on the Liquid Sky Bar on the 21st floor. Entrance fee is 800,000 VND/guest, accompanied by a drink and snack.
In addition, guests traveling in large groups can book a private dining room on the 19th floor, a service package for 6 guests or more with a starting price of 15 million VND.
Le Meridien Saigon Hotel
Located on Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1, facing the Saigon River, Le Meridien Saigon Hotel is an ideal fireworks viewing spot to avoid jostling and crowding.
Guests can enjoy a classy seafood buffet at the hotel's restaurant for 1.4 million VND/person, then go to the 9th floor to enjoy fireworks by the swimming pool. The fireworks display package costs 800,000 VND/guest, giving a panoramic view of Ba Son Bridge and the Saigon River tunnel.
