Every spring, Moc Chau (Son La) wears the gentlest and most brilliant coat. This season, the white color of plum blossoms and yellow color of mustard flowers are brilliantly dyed all over the hillsides. Tourists are also fascinated by the red color of strawberries and ripe orange and persimmon gardens.
Although nearly 200km from Hanoi, you can completely make a "escape" trip in just 24 hours. This time is still enough for you to gather a full set of photos from pure white plum blossoms to a citrus garden laden with fruit.
To have a full day in Moc Chau, Ms. Dang Huyen (1991, Hanoi) chose the option of traveling overnight. She shared: "Although I don't have much time, but because it's the beautiful flower season and I don't want to miss it, I decided to depart from Hanoi at 2 am. At 7 am, I arrived in Moc Chau and started my photo hunting journey as soon as the early sun rose.
Currently, the price of a limousine or sleeper bus running directly from Hanoi to Moc Chau is about 250,000 VND/way, with a shuttle bus to the destination. If driving a car yourself, National Highway 6 is quite wide and easy to travel, even though there are many passes and slopes.

As soon as she arrived, after a quick breakfast, the female tourist came to the plum valley. Compared to Na Ka or Mu Nau, plums in Cho Long sub-area are highly appreciated for their beautiful trees and blooming flowers, making photo hunting easier.
Under the morning sunlight when the mist has just stopped, pure white plum blossoms appearing in the picture will be the clearest. Spending 2 hours here, you will enjoy the feeling of walking under the pure white plum trees and taking beautiful pictures.

Leaving the plum valley, visitors should look for the remaining rose gardens of winter. Different from the brilliant beauty of the flowers, the rose garden brings a somewhat more contemplative and romantic color. The foliage has fallen completely, leaving only ripe red fruits laden on the thin branches.
When you are tired of the morning journey, you can visit restaurants in the town center to recover with delicious specialties.

After that, the afternoon is an ideal time to move to the gardens in Ban On, Van Son or Moc Son sub-areas. Ripe orange gardens are entering the harvest season, creating an attractive scene. Visitors just need to stand in the middle of the garden, inhaling the cool orange scent in the gentle breeze, all fatigue seems to disappear.
The orange garden laden with fruits with brilliant colors has become an ideal virtual living spot, attracting many tourists to visit and take photos. Garden entrance tickets are priced at 40,000 VND/adult and 10,000 VND/child.

In addition to the orange garden, visitors can also visit strawberry gardens that are in the ripe red season. Here, you will be able to pick sweet strawberries yourself and save interesting check-in moments.
Entrance tickets to the strawberry garden are usually free or only range from 20,000 - 50,000 VND/person. If you want to buy them for yourself, you can pick strawberries yourself at the garden with prices ranging from 250,000 to 400,000 VND/kg, depending on the type and size of the fruit.

Don't forget to spend the last hour before sunset to visit the yellow or white mustard flower fields. Because at this time the fog has dissipated and the sunlight has become gentle, making the scenery in the mustard gardens more brilliant when taken. Visitors can comfortably experience and take photos at the mustard gardens in Moc Chau with a ticket price of about 30,000 VND/person.
Leaving Moc Chau from about 5 pm, you will return to Hanoi from about 9 pm to 10 pm. Although it is a lightning-fast trip and consumes a lot of energy, the wonderful experiences and the shimmering photos obtained are completely worthy of the effort you put in.
Sharing about the trip, Ms. Huyen excitedly said: "I am really surprised by the beauty of Moc Chau this season. The peaceful space with endless flower fields helps me feel extremely relaxed. Just standing in any corner can bring back many beautiful photos as souvenirs. All expenses for this trip are packed in less than one million VND".
