Another familiar place is the bougainvillea trellis of Mr. Hai Chuong's house at the end of Pham Van Dong street. Located on the bank of the Ca Ty River, right in front of the gate of Phan Thiet port - where passengers often take boats to Phu Quy island - this flower trellis has long become a familiar stop for tourists before each trip.

Sharing the same feeling, Ms. Thuy Trang, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said: "Paper flowers in Phan Thiet have a very strong vitality. The harsher the sun, the darker and more prominent the color of the flowers".
