Ke Go Lake was started construction in 1976 and completed in 1979, with a total length of 30km. The lake consists of one main dam and 10 auxiliary dams with a capacity of more than 300 million m3 of water.
Initially, the lake was built mainly to serve irrigation projects. However, blessed with poetic beauty by nature, Ke Go Lake has become a famous destination for tourists.

20km from Ha Tinh city center, Ke Go Lake impresses with its emerald green water. Although it is called an artificial lake, this place looks wild and majestic as if painted by nature. The undulating hills are covered with green trees, the winding water surrounds them like a watercolor painting appearing before the eyes of visitors.
On hot summer days, local people or tourists from near and far often come to Ke Go Lake to "heal" their souls and take time to rest after busy work. Watching the sunset hidden on the water surface blending with the green of the mountains and forests, visitors can calm down and slow down to fully enjoy this moment.

The main highlight is the curved C-shaped bridge leading to the small island. This is an attractive spot for tourists when coming to Ke Go Lake. Going to the end of the C-shaped bridge, visitors will see the temple worshiping the late General Secretary Le Duan, which was newly inaugurated on January 18, 2014. Coming here, visitors will hear about his achievements during the resistance period or the simple life stories of people from the Central region.
Visitors to Ke Go Lake can participate in a number of activities such as checking in at Ke Go bridge, camping by the lake, fishing... Many people choose to come here in the summer or fall to enjoy the fresh air, cool.
