In recent days, a dog at Mui Dien tourist spot, in Dak Lak province, has received great attention from the online community. Even, this four-legged guide has received quite high ratings on the Google Maps platform, with the nickname "Golden Dog Friend".
Golden Dog Friend" has done very well the responsibility of a tour guide and is even very enthusiastic, diligent, hospitable, and does not hesitate to lead distant tourists to Mui Dien.

Male tourist Nguyen Huu Dat (Bac Ninh) said: "My husband and I met the "golden dog friend" in May 2022 and did not expect that he is so "hot" right now. When we arrived at Mui Dien, we were taking pictures and saw the dog friend just following behind. He was very obedient, gave bread to eat, after eating he looked up, did not bark or jump up to demand anything.
Mr. Tran Tuan - a tourist from Dong Thap - was also quite surprised because the image of the special tour guide he met last summer was widely shared on social networks. In June 2025, he and his friend came to Mui Dien very confused about the route.
The road has a turnaround with two sides. When we were still struggling, the yellow dog friend ran quickly ahead. So we also followed to see if there were houses nearby and finally, he led us to Mui Dien again. However, it seems that during this time, he was thinner than when we met," the male tourist happily shared a memorable memory.

Young man Nguyen Thanh Hien (Dong Thap) was also particularly impressed with this four-legged guide. When the group of male tourists just set foot on the first steps, the dog actively approached, waving its tail friendly as a greeting.
He said: "Seeing that enthusiasm, we shared some cakes with you. What impressed me most was your intelligence and intuition. To challenge this "guide" friend, the whole group deliberately went in the wrong direction, turning into other directions. Immediately, you continuously signaled warnings. Indeed, the direction we intended to go was a blocked road, unable to pass. This sensitivity surprised the whole group very much.

In fact, "Golden Dog Friend" is a pet of a farming family near Mui Dien. This is a female dog, about 10 years old. Every day, this special guide receives food and drinks from the owner's family or tourists, tourism workers.
Visitors when interacting with this special guide should pay attention to some recommendations, as this is not a wild animal or an official tourism service.
When feeding dogs, only suitable, easily digestible foods should be given, avoid salty, spicy, spicy foods or stale foods. Do not force feeding and do not feed too much at the same time to avoid affecting the animal's health.
Tourists should not arbitrarily lead dogs too far from familiar areas or intentionally "test" by going into dangerous, dense paths. Even if the dog is used to the road, instinctive movement still contains risks, especially in hilly, coastal, and hot terrain.
