Henry, a tourist from San Francisco (USA), said: “People here are very dynamic and wonderful. They are open-minded, love to enjoy festivals and do not place much importance on religious issues. If I have the opportunity to return to Hanoi, I will come here during Tet to enjoy the atmosphere of welcoming the New Year in Vietnam.”

Maria Fremen, a tourist from Germany, shared that she and her husband visited Hanoi for 5 days. When she arrived at Hang Ma Street, she called this street Christmas Street because of the hustle and bustle, splendor and Christmas colors of the street at night.

“I didn’t know that Vietnamese people also celebrate Christmas. This neighborhood is really bustling. I always thought Germans were crazy about Christmas because we celebrate Christmas very big, have Christmas markets with decorations and food. But here it’s much more than that. Vietnamese people also celebrate Christmas as big as other countries,” said Maria.
