Fodor's Travel is an 80-year-old American travel guide. Recently, this site announced a list of the 100 best hotels and resorts in the world in 2025.
The list is organized by region: Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Pacific, Caribbean, Europe, Mexico and Central America, Middle East, South America, United States and Canada.
In the list of best hotels and resorts in Asia 2025, the only representative of Vietnam is The Anam Cam Ranh resort.
The 5-star resort is reviewed by Fodor's Travel, with a luxurious aesthetic style and a poetic sea view. Once a former military port, now a high-class resort, this place has an elegant combination of classic French architecture and Indochinese culture from the decorations, interior to the large campus. The villas here all have balconies and private gardens facing the beach with rows of coconut trees and frangipani flowers providing cool green shade.
The resort currently has 77 villas and 136 suites located on a 12-hectare campus along the coast of Bai Dai, Cam Ranh peninsula. The resort is only about 11km from Cam Ranh international airport.
According to Fodor's Travel, the 100 selected hotels and resorts represent just 0.014% of the world's best accommodations.
According to the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization), there are an estimated 700,000 places to stay in the world, so evaluating and selecting 100 of them is no easy task. Fodor's Travel has done this by compiling and screening the opinions of 750 industry experts.
