On Hanoi's autumn days, West Lake becomes a rendezvous point for many young people. From late afternoon, groups cycle around the lake, both exercising and relaxing while waiting to watch the sunset fall on the water.
At about 5 pm, the lakeside road began to become more crowded. Without elaborate activities, many people spent about an hour or two cycling around the lake, both exercising after a day of studying and working, and enjoying the airy space.
I took the opportunity to cycle around the lake a few times and saw that the sunset was too beautiful, so I stopped to take pictures. Towards the end of the afternoon, the sun gradually turns yellow. At locations with wide views of the lake, many young people stop their cars, find a suitable corner to watch the sunset and record moments of Hanoi autumn.
The moment the sun gradually disappeared was also when the crowd on the lakeside road became thinner. Cars continued to roll, while many people took the opportunity to save their last photos before the lights went out completely.
According to the advice of photographers, in autumn, the sunset time may come faster than in summer. Therefore, people who want to take sunset photos should be present from about 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM to proactively choose locations and not miss beautiful moments.
