Yen Bai - The terraced fields across Mu Cang Chai district are ripening, unaffected by floods but not many tourists have visited.
Up to now, Yen Bai has no more isolated areas due to floods after Typhoon Yagi. The weather in Mu Cang Chai in particular and in Yen Bai province in general has had beautiful sunny days. Video: Ho Sinh
After storm Yagi, Mu Cang Chai district was not as severely affected as other locations near the river such as Yen Bai city, Luc Yen district, and Tran Yen district. Ho Sinh, a local tour guide, shared that buses from Hanoi to Mu Cang Chai do not pass through those locations and National Highway 32 is running normally, safe for tourists to visit the ripe rice season. This is one of the famous check-in spots for many years in Mu Cang Chai, attracting hundreds of tourists every autumn to take photos and visit.
