Coming here at the beginning of the 8th lunar month, Phan Quoc Khanh (25 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) was surprised and excited because of the crowded and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere. Mid-Autumn Festival is a children's holiday. When I arrived at Luong Nhu Hoc Street, I felt like I was getting younger, reliving the joy of my childhood once again, said Mr. Quoc Khanh.

The lantern street is bustling from the beginning of the 8th lunar month to the full moon day. The busiest time frame on the street is around 7pm - 9pm. Seeing children taken by their parents for walks and toys, their childhood memories come flooding back. As a child, almost every year my parents bring me here to buy moon cakes, to see all kinds of colorful lights, Quoc Khanh said.

Lantern prices here are also extremely diverse, depending on the material and size. Small, simple paper lights cost from 25,000 - 30,000 VND, the average type ranges from 30,000 - 80,000 VND, elaborate models with LED lights, larger or "hot trend" models can cost up to several hundred thousand VND. What makes Luong Nhu Hoc street attractive is the combination of traditional culture and modern life. Adults find their childhood memories in the red glass fountain lights, children enjoy holding a music lantern in their hands, while foreign tourists are excited to take photos and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere imbued with Vietnamese culture.

Not only stopping at shopping and sightseeing, visitors can also enjoy dishes such as moon cakes, candy... in variety. Quoc Khanh said that tourists coming here should pay attention to storing their belongings to avoid picking up their bags in crowded places. In addition, you should carry a handheld fan to avoid getting hot.
“Moi nguoi nen mua hang ung ho, du chi la mot chiec den long nho, re tien vi du sao day van la khu vuc kinh doanh. Neu muon chup anh tai gian hang, nen xin phep hoi truoc de giu y tu va tranh lam phien nhung tieu thuong khac”, Quoc Khanh noi. Anh: NVCC
"People should buy donations, even if it is just a small, cheap lantern because this is still a business area. If you want to take photos at the booth, please ask in advance to keep your opinion and avoid bothering other traders," Quoc Khanh said.

In addition to Luong Nhu Hoc Street, Quoc Khanh suggests that visitors can walk along Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street as a lantern selling area, suitable for taking colorful, sparkling Mid-Autumn Festival photos.
