Binh Dinh - Nestled in the peaceful land of Phu Cat, Hoi Van hot spring has become a new destination for those who love to travel to experience and explore nature.

Less than 40km northwest of Quy Nhon city center, the hot spring located in Hoi Van village (Cat Hiep commune, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh) stands out with its pristine beauty and the boiling water springing from the ground.

Unlike the usual cool streams, Hoi Van hot spring impresses because the water always evaporates in a misty state, creating the feeling of a "huge water tank" boiling in the middle of nature.

With surface temperatures ranging from 70-80 degrees Celsius, Hoi Van hot spring brings an interesting culinary experience to people and tourists - boiling eggs right at the stream mouth.

According to local people, most tourists coming to Hoi Van hot spring bring chicken eggs and quail eggs to try the feeling of "cuoking with mother nature".

Just release the eggs into the boiling water, wait about 8-10 minutes to have a fatty peach blossom egg. To make the eggs more cooked, just leave them for another 5-10 minutes.

Ms. Pham Thi Hanh (born in 1985, residing in Hai Phong City) shared that the experience seemed simple but made her and her family enjoy it. "The feeling of waiting and enjoying the eggs boiled in the hot springs is very interesting and unique," said Ms. Hanh.

Not only a tourist destination, Hoi Van hot spring is also known for its healing value thanks to its valuable natural mineral resources. The water here is considered rich in minerals, has the effect of supporting the treatment of skin diseases, arthritis, cardiovascular disease and is especially useful in rehabilitation.

Since 1976, Binh Dinh province has built a nursing center in Cat Hiep commune to care for people with meritorious services, later developed into a Nursing and Rehabilitation Hospital.

However, this facility has stopped operating to make way for a resort, health care and residents' tourism project in the Hoi Van hot spring area, with the goal of sustainably exploiting the value of precious hot mineral resources here.

Mr. Le Quang Hung - Director of the Department of Health of Binh Dinh province - said that this is a hot mineral spring, so it is very good for rehabilitation. There have been many studies proving that the water here is very healthy, but it is necessary to identify each type of disease and have time and treatment to be effective.
