On October 18, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam in collaboration with Can Tho City Museum organized the opening of the exhibition "Special National Monument of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam" in the sacred space of the Hung King Temple in Can Tho City.
The Organizing Committee informed that the exhibition content is distilled from thousands of documents to recreate the formation and development process of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam; expressed through 4 main themes including: the temple of knowledge, cultivating talents, the journey of examinations, and famous stone history.
On the first day of the exhibition, many students, teachers and people in Can Tho City were present to experience and explore the special cultural and intellectual space.
Eager to visit the exhibition with teachers and friends, Nguyen Ngoc Nha Quynh - a student at Tran Hung Dao Secondary School, Ninh Kieu District - said that she enjoyed experiencing AI technology the most, interacting with the "turtle" to answer questions, etc., helping her discover many new things.
Ms. Nguyen Le Thu Thuan - Principal of Tran Hung Dao Secondary School, Ninh Kieu District - shared that she was very interested in the way the exhibition space was displayed, especially experiencing the technologies to learn about relics in historical periods, thereby helping people to be aware of patriotism as well as love more about the history and culture of the nation.
Dr. Le Xuan Kieu - Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam - informed that this is the first time the exhibition of the special national relic of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam is held in Can Tho City. In addition to displaying documents, the exhibition also uses AI technology, virtual reality technology...
“We hope the exhibition will attract the attention of people and tourists when visiting Can Tho City, especially students who will come to visit the exhibition and do research and study; thereby having more love for the heritage left by our ancestors,” Mr. Kieu added.
According to Mr. Truong Cong Quoc Viet - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, the exhibition has extremely meaningful content, helping Can Tho people have the opportunity to learn about the tradition of studiousness and respect for teachers of the nation; at the same time, creating a connection between the capital Hanoi and Can Tho City - the center of the Mekong Delta region. The exhibition will serve visitors from today (October 18) until the end of December 2024.
