From November 7 to 15, in Bac Son commune (Lang Son province), the "Bac Son Golden Season" Tourism Festival in 2025 will take place with the theme "Golden Season in the homeland of Bac Son".
This year, the event has a special meaning when Quynh Son community tourism village has just been honored by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) as "World's Best Tourist Village in 2025".
This year's "Bac Son Golden Season" festival brings together many unique cultural and sports activities, recreating the vivid lives of people in the Bac Son valley.
Visitors can participate in rice harvesting competitions, rice pounding, wrapping black Chung cakes, goat fights, bird fights, or enjoy the space for performing traditional arts.
In particular, the activities of paragliding to see the "golden valley" of Quynh Son and rowing SUP boats in the rice sea continue to be a highlight attracting domestic and foreign tourists, bringing a unique experience only available in Bac Son during the harvest season.
Within the framework of the festival, the People's Committee of Bac Son commune coordinated with localities such as Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi... to organize booths displaying agricultural products, OCOP products typical of the region, contributing to promoting and connecting local product consumption.
The experience space of "Memories of Childhood" and "Old Space" is also built in the commune center, where visitors can take photos and recreate the memories of Bac Son village through the ADT tiled roofs, fabric weaving frames, or traditional labor tools.
Mr. Trinh Minh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Son commune, said that all preparations have been basically completed.
The accommodation system, restaurants, and tourism services are inspected, ensuring readiness to serve tourists throughout the festival.
The leader of Bac Son commune affirmed: "We hope to bring visitors a festival imbued with the cultural identity of Tay, while spreading the image of Quynh Son tourist village, the pride of Lang Son on the world tourism map."
It is known that this is the third time the "Bac Son Golden Season" Tourism Festival has been held, but for the first time the People's Committee of Bac Son commune has directly hosted it after the two-level local government model was implemented.
