Visiting La Han Pagoda in Soc Trang

Soc Trang - With its peaceful scenery and beautiful architecture, La Han Pagoda has become a place not to be missed when coming to Soc Trang.

La Han Pagoda is located at 63/8, Ward 8, Soc Trang City (Soc Trang Province). This pagoda was built by the Chinese community living in Soc Trang so that local residents have a place to pray for luck, peace, and favorable weather.

La Han Pagoda is built in 2 floors with four overlapping roof systems, each corner of the roof has decorative patterns in the traditional Chinese art style.

In the campus, on the left is a phoenix shaped by combining natural and colored stones, the tail spread out to form a stone niche to worship Quan The Am. On the right is a giant dragon, decorated with a very unique and sophisticated stone inlay method.

On every occasion, the Temple Management Board organizes worship. Especially on the Lantern Festival, they also organize a lantern procession, stupa and blessing cakes to bring good luck to every home, encouraging the spirit of enthusiasm to work during the year.
