More than 95 years have passed, and generations of Mr. Tiep's families are still living in the house without having to repair too much. The space of the current house is still kept according to the design of the French architect.
Not far from Mr. Tiep's house is another ancient French villa of Mr. Luong Pham Cuong's family (born in 1963). This villa was bought by Mr. Cuong's father in 1954.
"Previously, this villa belonged to a richest landowner in the village, with an area of about 36m2, built with 2 floors in French architecture, in the summer it was in, always cool," said Mr. Cuong.

Also known as the old French villa in Nha Xa village, the house of Mrs. Pham Thi Ngan (born in 1954) is colored by time, standing out in the shade of peaceful trees.
Ms. Ngan said: "Previously, my father-in-law was merchant Le Cao Cham - a prominent and rich man in the village. In 2006, my father-in-law started construction of a garden villa on a total land area of about 300 square meters. The construction materials are all made of sugarcane".
The villa of Mrs. Ngan's family is designed in a 3-room architectural style, 4.2m high and covered with Yin-yang tiles, with a wooden ceiling. Notably, the villa used to have an underground tunnel about 6m deep, 40m2 wide, but over time, her family demolished it to build a level 4 house as it is today.
