Mr. Ti Lau, a local tourist, shared: "This pink tree was planted by a Hanoian homestay owner in 2023. However, last year there were no fruits; this year, the big fruit trees. Everyone passing by looked back and wanted to take souvenir photos.
On weekends, customers line up to take photos with ripe pink trees, the road in front of the homestay is often congested during rush hours. Many people even joked that this is the "happiest" rose tree in the world.

Since mid-November, the red tree in the fruit season has attracted a large number of tourists. On weekends, this place becomes more bustling than ever. According to Mr. Ti Lau's observation, it is estimated that on peak days, the rose tree can welcome up to 4,000 - 5,000 visitors.
Ripe pink trees decorate the landscape of Lo Lo Chai village, which is originally rustic, with rammed houses - Mong cultural heritage in Ha Giang, roofed with rammed tiles, stone fences.
The first time visiting Lo Lo Chai village, Ms. Bui Thanh Tam (35 years old, Hanoi) took the opportunity to take a souvenir photo with the fruit-laden pink tree. Taking a tour on the weekend, Ms. Tam had to choose a small corner to take photos.

She expressed: "Although I only had a few minutes to stand and take photos with the roses in the village, I was very happy. Lo Lo Chai village is wonderful. Every corner of the village is still wild and original. When I returned home, I found myself still being questioned by everything in the village.
"People here are very happy to welcome such a large number of visitors every day. Of course, the rose tree is just one of the tourist attractions this year in Lo Lo Chai village. The rose will have missed fruit for about 3 more weeks. Tourism workers like us always want to serve tourists in the best way, said Mr. Ti Lau.
When the red-fruit pink tree attracted the attention of many tourists, the villagers quickly introduced other services such as renting clothes, taking photos, selling local specialties such as water sweet soup, banh chung den...
These services therefore also receive great attention from tourists. On average, a set of impersonation costumes according to traditional costumes of the Lo Lo Chai ethnic group is rented for 100,000 - 150,000 VND.

At this time, homestays in Lo Lo Chai are often out of rooms because the weather in early winter is at its most beautiful. Above all, this is the peak of the buckwheat flower festival season. According to Mr. Ti Lau, a business household's revenue during the holiday season can reach 40-50 million VND/month, improving people's lives.
On October 17, 2025, Lo Lo Chai was officially listed in the top of the most typical tourist villages in the world, announced by the United Nations Tourism Organization after surpassing more than 270 records from 65 countries.
The title of "Best Tourist Village in the World in 2025" is a worthy recognition of the efforts of the Lo Lo community in developing sustainable tourism, preserving cultural identity and protecting the environment.
