Michelin announces the world's best hotels for the first time

Ý Yên |

MICHELIN Guide will announce the list of MICHELIN Key-standard hotels globally for the first time.

MICHELIN Key is a hotel rating system with three levels, similar to the prestigious star rating system in the culinary field of MICHELIN Guide.

The system honors the best accommodation experiences: one Key for a special experience, two Key for a great experience and three Key for an excellent experience.

The hotels are evaluated based on five global criteria, including service quality, design - architecture, unique identity, comfort level and consistency between experience and value.

In recent years, the brand has compiled a list of selected hotels globally, including more than 7,000 accommodation locations in more than 125 countries.

After honoring more than 1,500 hotels through MICHELIN Key's initial assessment criteria, for the first time the list of hotels with the best services globally will be announced. The Appraisal Team is completing this list.

Four new Special Awards will be introduced, honoring hotels with outstanding contributions in each specialized field: Architecture and Design, Health (Wellness), Local identity and Typical Newly opened hotels.

The nomination list for each award will be announced on digital platforms from mid-August to the end of September 2025.

The list and award announcement ceremony will take place at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, on October 8, 2025.
