    Lao Cai - Located in the top 4 highest mountain passes in the Northwest, O Quy Ho Pass attracts many tourists with its majestic mountain scenery and cloud hunting experiences.

    Located on National Highway 4D, the pass connects Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces and is also the border between the two provinces. With a length of 50km, O Quy Ho is one of the longest, most dangerous and majestic mountain passes in the northern mountainous region of Vietnam. This pass is known as the "king of passes in the Northwest".

    Ten “O Quy Ho” bat nguon tu tieng keu buon thuong cua mot loai chim trong truyen thuyet. Theo dan gian, cau chuyen ke ve tinh yeu ngang trai giua mot nang tien va chang tieu phu, dan den tieng keu ai oan cua loai chim, tu do deo duoc dat ten la O Quy Ho.
    Through research, the name “O Quy Ho” originated from the sad cry of a legendary bird. According to folklore, the story is about the ill-fated love between a fairy and a woodcutter, leading to the bird’s mournful cry, from which the pass was named O Quy Ho.

    O Quy Ho is known as one of the "four great mountain passes" because of its danger with hairpin bends and deep ravines.
