Mr. Ngo Quoc Toan, Manager of Nha Mat Tourist Area, Bac Lieu said: “We have carefully prepared all stages to serve the Tet holiday. The tourist area also added seasonal staff to welcome the number of visitors that is likely to increase in the coming days.”
To increase attraction to tourists, Nha Mat Tourist Area will organize some activities in the evening such as: bingo show, Tet booth decoration, folk games...
Nha Mat tourist area, Nha Mat ward, Bac Lieu city with thrilling games such as roller coasters, merry-go-rounds, and flying universes have been upgraded with equipment to ensure the entertainment needs and safety of visitors. The zoo alone has brought in more than 80 new animal species to serve visitors.
At the Bac Lieu Prince's House Complex, the tourist area manager said all preparations have been completed. The company has invested in more miniature landscapes so that visitors have a place to play in the yard and lobby.
The number of guests is expected to increase from the first day of Tet, so staff, guidance and service are all carefully prepared.
“This is a typical destination, a familiar address for Vietnamese tourism, so we try to leave many impressions on visitors when they come to visit,” said the manager of the tourist area.
In Ca Mau, tourist areas and spots such as Hon Da Bac, U Minh Ha National Park, Hoa Rung, Huong Tram, Muoi Ngot, Song Trem, Lang Sen Garden... are also busy welcoming the Tet tourist season.
Mr. Giang Hoang Hon - representative of Huong Tram Eco-tourism Site (U Minh District), - informed that since September 2024, the site has had a plan to renovate facilities to serve folk games such as balance bikes, pontoon bridges, swing bridges, cable slides, sampans, monkey bridges..., especially the flower garden with many types of colorful flowers for tourists to come and play and check in during Tet.
To attract tourists to the wild nature of U Minh forest, this year's Tet, Muoi Ngot Eco-tourism Site opens its doors to welcome visitors with tours to experience fishing, setting traps, draining ponds..., the most attractive is harvesting wild honey and enjoying culinary dishes made from bee pupae, eels, snakes, and freshwater fish only found in U Minh Ha forest.
In particular, this year's Lunar New Year, Ca Mau has 2 new tourist attractions, which are the provincial historical site "Uncle Ho's memorial stele with the Southern star apple tree" in Tri Phai commune, Thoi Binh district and the national historical site of the gathering point to the North in the period of 1954-1955 in the southern bank area, Song Doc town, Tran Van Thoi district.
Ensure safety, public prices
In order to best serve tourists, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Lieu requested the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, tourist areas, tourist attractions, and tourism service businesses in the province to strengthen the management of destinations, inspect and supervise the organization of tourism activities in the area to ensure the safety of tourism activities to welcome visitors during the Lunar New Year 2025.
The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Lieu noted that tourist accommodation establishments, tourist transport units, tourist areas and attractions, restaurants serving tourists, shopping centers and entertainment facilities in the area must not let situations happen that negatively affect the tourism image of the province.
Tourist attractions, tourist service establishments in the province must fully arrange facilities and human resources to serve people and tourists during the Lunar New Year 2025.
At the same time, synchronously implement measures to ensure environmental sanitation and food safety at tourist accommodation establishments, restaurants, and entertainment areas serving tourists; ensure good security, safety, and fire prevention before, during, and after Tet; arrange and deploy enough tour guides to introduce visitors to tourist areas and spots to ensure the best service for tourists.
Accommodation service establishments must maintain service quality, comply with the law on prices, post prices and sell at the correct listed prices; publicly post prices of services at the reception area for visitors to choose and facilitate inspection and control by authorities.
