That is a rock called Kjeragbolten, located between two Kjerag cliffs (Lysefjord, Rogaland county, Norway). The rock is stuck in the middle of a 5.3m wide mountain range, below which is a deep abyss, creating a beautiful but also extremely dangerous natural wonder.
Many tourists were scared when witnessing the rock hanging in the middle of the mountain stream, but others were extremely excited, even accepting the risk to climb.
Every year, many visitors come here to admire this special natural wonder. Many of them have truly experienced the feeling of strength when not having to climb. The road here is quite bumpy but if you only hesitate a little, you can conquer most of them without any special equipment. Coming to Kjerag Mountain, visitors can not only see Kjeragbolten rock but also enjoy the beautiful natural landscape. The tourist season here is from June to September. Visitors to Kjeragbolten have to travel 10km by road, including a climbing time of 6-8 hours.
