On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Hanoi will organize a total of 30 fireworks displays at 31 locations.
Notably, there are 10 high-altitude fireworks display sites combined with low-altitude fireworks and 21 low-altitude fireworks display sites. The 10 high-altitude fireworks display sites combined with low-altitude fireworks include:
- Hoan Kiem District (in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Headquarters and Hanoi Post Office).
- Tay Ho District (at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, in front of the District People's Committee gate).
- Nam Tu Liem District (at F1 racetrack, Phu Do ward).
- Hai Ba Trung District (Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward).
- Ha Dong District (Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward).
- Son Tay Town (Son Tay Citadel).
- Thanh Tri District (Regulating Lake project land, Tam Hiep commune).
- Dong Anh District (Dong Anh District Sports Center).
- Bac Tu Liem District (Hoa Binh Park, Xuan Dinh Ward).
In addition, 21 low-altitude fireworks displays include:
- Ba Dinh District (southeast of Ngoc Khanh Lake, Ngoc Khanh Ward).
- Hoang Mai District (at Ho Den Lu Park, Hoang Van Thu Ward).
- Long Bien District (Park 02, Viet Hung Ward).
- Dong Da District (at Xa Dan Lake, Nam Dong Ward).
- Cau Giay District (at Cau Giay Park, Dich Vong Ward).
- Thanh Xuan District (at Thanh Xuan Park, Nhan Chinh Ward).
- Gia Lam District (at No. 1 Thuan An, Trau Quy Town).
- Me Linh District (5th floor terrace of District People's Committee Hall).
- Ba Vi district (at Quang Oai stadium, Tay Dang town).
- Dan Phuong district (at stand B, district stadium, Phung town).
- Thach That district (at the stadium, Lien Quan town).
- Chuong My district (at district stadium, Chuc Son town).
- Thuong Tin district (at Thuong Tin district stadium).
- Quoc Oai District (at the 6-storey roof of the District Military Command).
- Phu Xuyen District (at Thao Chinh Sub-area, Phu Xuyen town).
- My Duc District (at Ecological Lake Park, Dai Nghia Town).
- Ung Hoa district (at district stadium, Van Dinh town).
- Soc Son district (at district stadium, Soc Son town).
- Phuc Tho district (at district stadium, Phuc Tho town).
- Thanh Oai District (at Green Park, Kim Bai town).
- Hoai Duc District (at Mailand Hanoi City Urban Area, An Khanh Commune, Hoai Duc District).
Of which, the number of high-altitude fireworks includes a total of 6,000 fireworks (10 sites, each site has 600 fireworks), low-altitude fireworks includes a total of 3,420 sets (each site has 120 sets, 10 high-altitude sites, each site has 90 sets).
Fireworks display lasts 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 29.
Visitors to the fireworks should arrive at least 40 minutes to 1 hour early to get the best seats or viewing position. Prepare a warm jacket, bring water or snacks in case you have to wait for a long time.
