Ho Chi Minh City is the focus of the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
Ho Chi Minh City will launch high-altitude fireworks at 2 locations and low-altitude fireworks at 28 locations on the evening of April 30 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Fireworks will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on April 30 at 30 locations.
2 high-altitude fireworks display locations in Ho Chi Minh City:
(1) The Saigon River tunnel area, Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city, with 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks displays and 10 fireworks displays.
(2) Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Temple, Phu My Hung Commune, Cu Chi District, with 500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks displays and 1 fireworks display.

During the April 30 and May 1 holidays, Lao Cai province organizes many cultural, artistic and entertainment activities.
From April 29-30, in Dinh Le street, Kim Tan ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province, a booth display will be held to introduce OCOP products, cuisine; display and exhibition to introduce artistic photos about Lao Cai city; "Summer Dance" contest in 2025; organize street games: tug of war, karaoke, collective rope jump, blindfolded drumming, Quan Ho, bamboo dancing, ... and singing and street dancing activities; Art program to celebrate the Liberation of the South, National Reunification; fireworks...
Quang Ninh
According to the plan, Quang Ninh province will organize two fireworks display locations on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, 2025.
On April 30, at Vinhomes Golden Avenue Urban Area (Hai Hoa Ward, Mong Cai City), a low-altitude fireworks display will take place for 15 minutes, starting at 9pm. The program used 60 fireworks displays, 200 firecrackers and 240 flower spraying tubes.
On May 1, within the framework of the 2025 Ha Long Carnival Festival, Quang Ninh will launch high-altitude fireworks in the coastal road of Dai Duong Park, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City. The performance lasted 15 minutes, starting at 9:30 p.m., with a total of 800 fireworks used.
Quang Binh
Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh) plans to organize two low-altitude fireworks display locations at Ho Chi Minh Square and Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area.
From April 30 to May 4, at Bao Ninh 1 urban area (Dong Hoi city), a series of Legend Fest in Dong Hoi programs will take place, with the highlight being the Legend Fest 2025 sea music festival on the evening of April 30.
From now until the end of May 3, the exhibition "Artistic Landscape" will also take place at Ho Chi Minh Square (Dong Hoi City) with many typical and diverse landscape works.
Ninh Thuan
Ninh Thuan will open the Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 at 8:00 p.m. on April 30 in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City.
The opening program includes special art performances, combined with a light show with 200 drones and ended with a brilliant fireworks display.
This week will last until May 4 in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city and some districts in the province. During the event, people and tourists can participate in many rich activities such as hot air balloon festivals, food festivals and sports such as boat racing, cycling racing.
Binh Thuan
Binh Thuan organizes many recreational activities to serve people and tourists on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
On the occasion of the holiday, Binh Thuan will have a low-altitude fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. on April 30, 2025 at NovaWorld Phan Thiet Beach Square Area, Tien Thanh Commune, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province. The number of shots is 90 with a duration of no more than 15 minutes.
Kien Giang
In Phu Quoc, on the evening of April 30, 2025, visitors can enjoy a special fireworks display within the framework of the multimedia show "Kiss the Stars" in Hoang Hon Town (Sunset Town), the Mediterranean area, the South of the island.
The program started at 9:30 p.m., combining modern lighting, sound, fire and laser technology, and ended with a brilliant fireworks display lasting about 7 minutes with more than 100 unique fireworks effects.
The time of fireworks display may vary depending on weather conditions and instructions and information from local authorities and organizers. People and tourists should arrive early to choose a convenient viewing location and comply with security and order regulations in the event area.
In addition, many provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long... have organized commemorative fireworks displays since before April 30.
