On the morning of May 14, the opening ceremony of the Pride Festival was solemnly observed by Venerable Tang Ni in the peaceful space of Quan Su Pagoda.
From 5am, thousands of people poured in, creating a long line of people on Tran Hung Dao and Ly Thuong Kiet streets, heading towards the place to worship and benefit the Buddha with deep respect.
According to the original plan, the time of worshiping the Buddha's grace at Quan Su Pagoda took place from 7:00 to 9:00, on the three days of May 14 to 16 (ie from the 17th to the 19th of the 4th lunar month).
However, due to the large number of Buddhists and people worshiping the Buddha's benefits, the Organizing Committee decided to expand the time to welcome and maintain worship activities throughout the night at Quan Su Pagoda.
Some notes when worshiping the Buddha's grace at Quan Su pagoda:
No fee is collected for all people coming to worship the Buddha.
Do not accept wreaths, offerings, or offerings; do not organize offerings at the charity area.
All people who come to worship the Buddha's grace need to follow the instructions of the Organizing Committee: line up in order, move in a row, keep quiet, do not film or take photos inside the Buddha's grace area.
No registration is required, people can go directly to Quan Su Pagoda. If traveling by private vehicle, you can park your vehicle at the main gate of Thong Nhat Park (Tran Nhan Tong Street).
Children under 2 years old and those wearing inappropriate clothes will not be allowed to enter the Buddha's Supper area.
The elderly, people with poor health or disabilities will be arranged by the Organizing Committee to travel in priority lanes.
