The 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival with the theme "Vietnam Ao Dai - Rising Vietnam" will take place from March 1-9. This year's festival expands the scale of organization with more interactive activities with people and tourists than previous years.
Opening of the Festival
The opening program took place from 7pm to 9pm on March 7 at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue Street with performances by many impressive collections.
The program has 3 chapters: Ao Dai and river songs; Ao Dai and the fire flower roads; Ao Dai - brilliant with Vietnamese colors.
People's dance in Ao Dai
It is expected to take place from 7-10am on March 8 at Nguyen Hue walking street to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 2010 - March 8, 2025) with about 3,000 people directly participating on Nguyen Hue walking street and more than 47,000 people at destinations in 21 districts, towns and Thu Duc City.
The organizing committee also combined to organize an additional traditional costume parade with more than 500 participants.
Ao Dai art program
The program took place from 7pm to 9am on March 8 at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue walking path.
The program is not only a special art performance but also contributes to aesthetic orientation and creates a new trend in the use of ao dai in daily life.

The contest is organized for collectives with the final round scheduled to take place from 5pm to 9am on March 9 at President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue walking path.
