According to Time Out , Vietnam has a pristine archipelago just a 45-minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City called Con Dao.
British magazine introduced: "Con Dao is a large national park where pristine nature can be seen anywhere. Those who love sand and sea can scuba dive to see the lively coral reefs or explore many the beach of this place".
Accordingly, the author's favorite beach is on Hon Bay Canh island - a sanctuary for nesting turtles to lay eggs and newborn turtles. The jungle-covered mountains offer lush green trails.
Visitors can wander under ancient trees in Ong Dung primeval forest or hike on the picturesque path to the top of Thanh Gia mountain. In addition, tourists can also visit Con Dao Museum or the old prison to learn more about the history here.
Topping Time Out's 2024 list is Filandia (Colombia). The author evaluates this as a charming small town with colorful balconies and undulating green hills, but not many tourists come here.
