Interspersed power poles in the middle of the street suddenly become check-in points attracting customers

An electric pole with a tangled wiring system in the center of Vientiane, Laos suddenly became famous online, attracting the attention of both locals and international visitors.

This power pole is located at the intersection between Sethathirath street and Rue Nokeokoummane, near Wat Mixay temple in Chanthabouly district, Vientiane. On the power pole is not only electric wire but also a dense network including fiber optic cables, internet cables and many other types of telecommunications wires.

Over the years, this densely wired power pole has stood out in the crowded city center. This location is even associated on Google Maps with the name "Electric Pole Super Star". Although it is not clear who added this location to the digital map, it has attracted about 50 reviews from users in just one week.

Many tourists passing by the area were surprised by this scene and often stopped to take pictures.

A tourist named George Kalogerak wrote in his review: "One of my favorite places in the city, worth visiting. Just kidding, Vientiane is a very beautiful city, but it's hard to believe there are so many cables. This column is the'most' of them.

Another tourist commented: "The highlight of Vientiane! It's truly a'superstar'".

This humor also spread in the online community. One comment even joked that the power pole should be nominated as a UNESCO heritage site.

There is currently no official information about when this power pole will be installed. However, old photos show that it may have existed in this area for at least 40 years.

This messy cluster of electrical wires and fiber optic cables has unintentionally turned a normal urban infrastructure into a "strange" tourist attraction, where visitors stop to take photos and jokingly call it one of the unique features of Vientiane.
