In 2025, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City will cooperate to participate in tourism promotion programs and domestic and international tourism fairs with the localities of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, and Quang Nam.
These localities will participate in fairs, festivals, tourism festivals, and tourism connection programs at home and abroad. Da Nang will also coordinate with localities to welcome domestic and international Famtrip and Presstrip delegations according to the plan as well as build inter-regional tours, diversifying experiences to attract tourists according to the strengths of each locality.
In particular, in this connection activity to develop tourism, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam will jointly build a tourism stimulus linkage program, develop railway tourism products, diversify forms of transportation, and create new experiences for tourists.
Da Nang will also cooperate in exchanging information on state management of tourism, and organize a conference to summarize the tourism development cooperation program between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the Central Key Economic Zone in 2025.
Regarding international cooperation, Da Nang continues to implement the signed cooperation agreements with provinces/cities in Korea (Changwon, Daegu, Jeju, Gyeongsangbuk). Including implementing cooperation in organizing inter-city events, organizing information introduction programs, and promoting destination images.
In addition, Da Nang will also cooperate with China, Australia, Japan, and Thailand to expand tourism space, exploit the strengths of each locality, diversify typical tourism products, and enhance competitive advantages.
At the conference to evaluate the city's tourism activities in the first 9 months of 2024 and deploy tasks for the last months of 2024 and 2025 held on the afternoon of October 14, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, also requested the tourism industry to promote digital transformation in tourism activities and cooperate in developing domestic and international tourism.
In particular, innovate communication work, emphasize the innovation of the destination and introduce tourism products and services suitable to the trends and tastes of each customer market. Effectively combine communication work to promote the image of Da Nang as a safe, friendly destination, ready to serve tourists with event programs.
