The Christmas - New Year Festival in Da Nang 2025 will be held for the first time for 20 days (December 14, 2024 to January 2, 2025) at 3 main locations, including: Northern landscape floor, East bank of Dragon Bridge and East bank park of Dragon Bridge; Northern landscape floor, West bank of Dragon Bridge and Southern landscape floor, West bank of Dragon Bridge.
With many unique and novel cultural, tourism, entertainment and recreation activities, aiming to enhance the experience and create a special impression on people and tourists in the moment of welcoming the new year 2025.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An - Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism shared: "The Christmas Festival - New Year Festival Da Nang 2025 not only marks the vibrant transformation of the city in the last days of the year, but is also an opportunity to introduce the cultural, artistic values and unique identity of Da Nang to domestic and international friends.
This festival is not only a seasonal event but will become the foundation for developing into an annual event, helping to enrich the cultural life of Da Nang people and creating an attractive destination for tourists during the year-end festival season."
Opening of the Christmas Festival - Welcome New Year Da Nang 2025 (5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. on December 20) at the northern landscape floor, the East bank of Dragon Bridge and the East bank of Dragon Bridge Park (land on Tran Hung Dao - Ly Nam De street) with a special art program, blending the brilliant colors of the Christmas space and the vibrant atmosphere of the activities at the Festival combined with vivid visual, sound and light effects.
In particular, at 7:00 p.m. on December 20, there will be a parade "Fun with Santa Claus" from Bach Dang Walking Street (Bach Dang - 2.9 intersection) - Light Pine Tree (northern landscape floor, West bank of Dragon Bridge), combining dance and singing performances with the participation of tourism businesses, people and tourists in Christmas costumes.
With a series of rich activities, the Christmas Festival - New Year Festival in Da Nang 2025 is expected to not only be an exciting festival but also a premise to build an impressive annual event, contributing to enriching cultural life and attracting international tourists to the coastal city of Da Nang every year-end.
