On the morning of December 27, the scientific seminar "Architecture of family temples and worship spaces of family lines in Vietnam" took place at the Center for Women and Development (Hanoi).
The discussion was moderated by historian Duong Trung Quoc - Vice President, General Secretary of the Vietnam Historical Association, Editor-in-Chief of the Past & Present Magazine; Postgraduate student. Master. Nguyen Trong Manh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xherozone Group.
The seminar was attended by professors, doctors, architects, and researchers with in-depth expertise in the fields of history, culture, beliefs, religion, family culture, architecture, feng shui, fine arts, etc.
Speaking at the opening of the discussion, Master Nguyen Trong Manh said: “The architecture of family temples and ancestral worship spaces of clans is a field of research that is not only closely linked to religious culture but also reflects the depth of history, the development of traditional architecture and the identity of each region across Vietnam.
This is not only a place for spiritual connection of generations of descendants in the family, but also a space to preserve valuable cultural, artistic and folk knowledge values. In the current context, when society is modernizing and living models have many changes, the preservation and promotion of the value of family temple architecture, as well as traditional worship spaces, are facing many challenges.
These challenges require appropriate solutions to both preserve original values and meet the practical needs of modern life.

The research outline of the project on Ancestral Temple Architecture and Worship Spaces of Clans in Vietnam is divided into 5 parts, analyzing, synthesizing and researching the worship culture, worship space, and ancestral temple architecture of clans across the country, according to each region and each belief.
Historian Duong Trung Quoc believes that the issue of language in the architecture of family temples needs to be seriously discussed, to see whether the families will use the national language, Chinese characters or Sanskrit. He suggests that experts need to take note of the reality and make practical proposals to develop the worship culture according to the trend while still preserving the traditional values of thousands of years.
Within the framework of the discussion, experts and scientists discussed the cultural and social significance of the architecture of communal houses in each region and religion. From there, they found effective solutions to restore the architecture and develop worship spaces that meet both aesthetic, spiritual and practical needs in the new era.

From the process of analyzing the differences in architectural art and decorative arts between regions, historical dynasties, and religions, the discussion proposed specific solutions to preserve and promote these values in the current context.
In particular, the project "Architecture of family temples and worship spaces of family lines in Vietnam" is highly appreciated by experts and scientists for both its scientific and practical significance, especially its contributions in preserving, promoting and honoring the traditional cultural, artistic and architectural values of the nation in today's social life.
The seminar is an event within a series of scientific research activities under the “Time Flow” project implemented by the Xherozone Group. The project aims to preserve traces of documentary, cultural, artistic, architectural, and feng shui heritage.
The project has recreated historical vestiges, arranged and systematized material and spiritual cultural heritages through cultural heritages, architecture, feng shui, and fine arts in dynasties and historical periods.
