Mr. Chu Van An is originally from Van Thon village, Thanh Liet commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi. He is a great person in spreading the education of Confucian morality in Vietnam.
He was invited by King Tran Minh Tong (1314 - 1329) to teach Quoc Tu Tu Giam to teach the prince. In the reign of King Tran Du Tong (1341 - 1369), because he could not stand the evil spirit, he gave him from the mandarin to hide on Phuong Hoang Mountain, only specializing in teaching, writing books, writing poems, researching and medicine Until died.
After Mr. Chu Van An died (1370), the people revered and set up a temple at the place where he taught. After 2 restoration phase, in 2008, Chu Van An temple became a solemn architectural complex.
In the temple, there are three internal officials, the three pagans, the lower yard, the middle yard, the terrace, the garden, the two dance houses, two beer houses, the main temple and the reliefs of the dragon and the clouds and 112 stone steps lead to the main temple.
Not only visiting, offering incense, tourists come to the temple to ask for words, offer books and pens to pray for studying tons to come and take the exam.

At the ceremony, the lawmaker Pham Hung performed the Chinese character opening with 4 words: "Hung, Vuong, Phat, Dat" with the meaning: Prosperity, Development achieved the purpose and task set out. The delegates declared the 10 -word national language: "Nhan Thuan Bach Nien, Phuc Gia Hoa, Van Su Hung".
