Watch fireworks
On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026), Ho Chi Minh City will organize fireworks displays at 7 locations, including 3 high-altitude combined low-altitude fireworks display locations and 4 low-altitude fireworks display locations. All 7 locations will simultaneously set off fireworks displays from 9pm to 9pm on September 2nd.
In which, 3 high-altitude fireworks locations include the Saigon River tunnel head area (An Khanh ward), the Binh Duong New City Center area (Binh Duong ward), and the Tam Thang Tower Square area (Vung Tau ward).
4 low-altitude fireworks locations include Ba Ria Square Park (Ba Ria ward), Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi ward), SAIGON MARINA IFC Tower (Sai Gon ward), Kim Long villa area (Rach Dia bridge, Nha Be commune).

Returning to the sacred moment
On August 19, 20 and 21, people and tourists after buying tickets to visit the Independence Palace according to regulations will participate in the 360-degree virtual reality (VR) technology application experience program - Returning to the sacred moment implemented by the program organizers, without additional fees.
Through virtual reality technology, people and tourists will return to Ba Dinh Square, witnessing the moment Uncle Ho reads the Declaration of Independence. The program brings a lively, visual approach, contributing to helping the public understand more about the memorable historical milestones of the nation.
Cultural - culinary exchange at Cu Chi Tunnels
During this year's National Day holiday, Cu Chi Tunnels historical relic site organized a cultural and culinary exchange program with K'Ho people from Langbiang, Lam Dong province.

From the foot of Langbiang mountain, the K'Ho people bring a brilliant cultural space with the sound of drums and openings, the echoing sound of gongs, folk dances, the rustic sound of the T'rung instrument and traditional rituals that fully recreate the life, labor and community activities of the village.
Coming to the program, visitors not only enjoy performances but also directly interact, immerse themselves in the xoang, learn about folk instruments, explore cultural life and enjoy the unique culinary features of the K'Ho people. Activities take place from 8am - 4:30pm from August 29th to the end of September 2nd.
