From June 26-28, Khanh Hoa province will become a cultural rendezvous for the Cham community across the country when hosting the 6th Cham National Culture Festival in 2026.
The event is directed and implemented by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, the Department of Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups and related units, to honor the unique cultural values of the Cham people.
The highlight of the festival is the opening art program with the theme "Shining colors of Cham culture".

The program is staged as a timeless journey, recreating the formation and development of Cham culture over more than a millennium, from historical roots to contemporary life.
Through three art chapters including "The Legend of the Cham Nation", "The Essence of Cham Culture" and "The Cham People in the Flow of the Country", the audience will be led into an art space combining tradition and modernity.
Images of the ancient Cham tower system, traditional festivals, pottery, brocade weaving and community cultural life are recreated in a stage language rich in expressiveness.
The sound of Paranung drums, Saranai trumpets and traditional dances contribute to creating a unique cultural picture, imbued with national identity.
Not only recreating the past, the program also aims at the present and the future, reflecting the process of preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Cham community in contemporary life.
The image of artisans diligently preserving traditional crafts, people preserving the national language and writing system, along with a dynamic and integrated young generation, has contributed to affirming the sustainable vitality of Cham culture.
The message throughout the program emphasizes the role of culture as an important resource in sustainable development.
At the same time, affirming cultural identity is not only historical memory but also the foundation for community development in the future.
In addition to the opening program, the festival also has many activities such as traditional costume performances, culinary introductions, handicraft product displays, mass art exchanges and national sports activities.
