Lam Dong - The bằng lăng flower hill attracts many check-in tourists, but the situation of breaking branches has appeared, causing the locality to place warning signs.

These days, hundreds of crape myrtle trees in the Lau Ong Hoang slope area, along Nguyen Thong street, Phu Thuy ward (Lam Dong province) are simultaneously blooming, covered in purple color at the foot of the hill.

The flower blooming area is located along the tourist route connecting Phan Thiet center with Mui Ne. The new scenery attracts many people and tourists to stop to admire flowers and take photos.

However, in the crape myrtle hill area, there has been a situation where some people break branches and pick flowers to make props for photos.

On social networks, images of people and tourists holding Lagerstroemia flowers in their hands or placing them in handbags for photos have appeared. These images have caused controversy, and many opinions expressed outrage at the act of affecting the natural landscape.

Faced with the above situation, the locality has placed a regulation board in the bằng lăng flower street area. In which, it requires people and tourists not to break branches, pick flowers, not to throw garbage and to preserve the general landscape.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Thuy ward - recommends that people and tourists come to admire flowers, take photos to save beautiful moments but do not break branches, pick flowers and need to maintain general hygiene.

Magnolia flowers are familiar to people in the coastal area of Phan Thiet. In previous years, this plant often bloomed scattered on the hillsides.

This year, hundreds of native crape myrtle trees in the Lau Ong Hoang slope area simultaneously bloomed, creating a large purple flower area.

The blooming flower area stretches nearly 200m along Nguyen Thong street. This is a crape myrtle variety that grows naturally in bushes at the foot of the hill, creating more landscape on the tourist route from the center of Phan Thiet to Mui Ne.
