On November 27, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism announced that the time to organize the 3rd Ho Chi Minh City River Festival (originally scheduled for November 29 - December 31) was adjusted to 2026, based on considering actual conditions to ensure effective organization.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism will continue to research and advise the City People's Committee on the new festival organization time and will inform immediately after receiving approval.
Previously, implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee at the meeting on November 13, 2025, in which it agreed to give opinions on adjusting the time to organize the 3rd Ho Chi Minh City River Festival in 2025.
Last September, the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City River Festival was honored with 2 Gold Awards at the 22nd International Business Awards (IBA) in 2025.
Ho Chi Minh City River Festival received the Gold Award in the categories of Art, Entertainment & Public - Festival. The opening art program Legendary Train continues to win Gold Award in the Cultural event category.
This is a special milestone, making the festival one of the few events in Vietnam to achieve double international achievements.
