On August 20, at Buu Long Tourist Area, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province held the opening ceremony of the Dong Nai Food Festival 2025 with the participation of international chefs from many countries such as: India, Japan, Italy and domestic professional chefs, along with thousands of tourists visiting and enjoying.
The 2025 Dong Nai Food Festival is an activity to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu Xuan Truong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province said that Dong Nai Food Festival 2025 with many meaningful activities such as: Establishing the Record for the largest grated sticky rice with cashews in Vietnam with a special combination of the special dish of Dong Nai fried sticky rice with cashews (formerly) and the famous cashews of Binh Phuoc (formerly) to create a dish with a harmonious meaning, promoting the culinary characteristics of the new Dong Nai.
In addition, there is also a cooking and model pruning contest organized with the participation of talented chefs; an exchange program with the Head of the Kitchen King; launching the Digital Map of Dong Nai Cuisine - a useful tool to explore the province's culinary culture...
Dong Nai Food Festival also aims to promote and introduce the richness and uniqueness of the province's cuisine. This is a practical activity in response to the 2025 domestic tourism stimulus program of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the theme "Vietnam - go to love".
Accordingly, the tourism industry of Dong Nai province will organize many outstanding programs and events to attract people and tourists to come and experience, contributing to the implementation of the double-digit economic growth target.
On this occasion, Buu Long Tourist Area (Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province) offers free admission to visitors on the day of the event on August 20.
