It is forecasted that from around December 7-9, the temperature in Hanoi will fluctuate between 12-20 degrees Celsius, Lao Cai around below 13 degrees Celsius, Son La around 11-18 degrees Celsius, Ha Giang around 12-18 degrees Celsius, Quang Ninh around 14-22 degrees Celsius. The weather will be cloudy and sunny.
Due to the influence of cold air, the Central region will have widespread rain. The Thanh Hoa - Ha Tinh and Quang Binh areas will turn cold from December 6.
The South and Central Highlands will experience cold weather at night and early morning due to the diffusion of cold air from December 7-8.
Previously, in November 2024, there were 4 cold air waves on November 2 and 4, November 16-18, November 26-28.
It is noteworthy that the cold air mass on November 26-28 caused cold weather in the Northern and North Central regions. The lowest daily temperature in the Northern region was generally between 15-18 degrees Celsius. In the high mountainous areas, the temperature was below 14 degrees Celsius, and in some places below 10 degrees Celsius, such as Pha Din (Dien Bien) 9.7 degrees Celsius, Sa Pa (Lao Cai) 9 degrees Celsius, Dong Van (Ha Giang) 9.4 degrees Celsius, Tam Dao (Vinh Phuc) 9.8 degrees Celsius, and Mau Son (Lang Son) 7.2 degrees Celsius.
