According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the tropical depression has little movement. At 1:00 a.m. on February 14, the center of the tropical depression was at about 13.5 degrees North latitude; 111.6 degrees East longitude, in the western sea area of the Central East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6 (39-49km/h), gusting to level 8.
Due to the influence of the tropical depression, the western sea area between the East Sea and the southwestern sea area of the North East Sea (including the Hoang Sa sea area); the offshore sea area from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa, has strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8, rough seas.
Currently, cold air has weakly affected most places in the Northeast. In the Gulf of Tonkin, there are northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, rough seas.
This cold air mass will continue to affect other areas in the Northeast, the North Central region and some places in the Northwest. On land, the Northeast wind is strong at level 2-3.
In the North and North Central regions, the weather will continue to be cold, with some mountainous areas in the North experiencing severe cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North is generally from 15-17 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas 12-14 degrees Celsius, in some places below 11 degrees Celsius; in the North Central region, it is generally 15-18 degrees Celsius.
