Weather Forecast today 9/23 Northeast monsoon is coming, the North will cool down, some places below 19 degrees Celsius.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, cold air has now affected all areas in the Northeast, some areas in the Northwest and North Central regions. In the Gulf of Tonkin, there are strong Northeast winds of level 6.

On September 23, cold air continued to affect other places in the Northwest and North Central regions. Northeast wind inland level 2-3, coastal areas level 3-4.

The weather in the North and Thanh Hoa is cool, while in some mountainous areas of the North it is cold. During this cold air mass, the lowest temperature in the North and Thanh Hoa is generally between 20-23 degrees Celsius, and in some mountainous areas it is below 19 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa and Nghe An areas will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 30-70mm, and locally over 130mm; the area from Ha Tinh to Thua Thien Hue will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 40-80mm, and locally over 150mm. From September 24, heavy rain will gradually decrease in the Central provinces.

Floods on Buoi, Ma and Chu rivers continue to rise. During this flood, the flood peak in the upper reaches of the rivers is generally at level 2-3, and in some places above level 3; the lower reaches of Ma and Chu rivers are at level 1-2 and above level 2; the lower reaches of Buoi river at Kim Tan are likely to reach level 3.

Meanwhile, the water level on rivers and streams in the upper reaches of the Dong Nai River system is quite high, with the risk of flooding low-lying areas along rivers and streams. Residents and tourists need to be on guard against the possibility of heavy rain combined with floods causing flooding, landslides on river banks, streams, and low-lying areas in Tan Phu and Dinh Quan districts of Dong Nai province and neighboring areas.
