The rainfall from 7:00 p.m. on August 29 to 3:00 a.m. on August 30 was over 70mm in some places such as: Quan Chu (Thai Nguyen) 141.2mm, Xuan Minh (Ha Giang) 138.2mm, Ngok Tu (Kon Tum) 120.2mm, Ro Men (Lam Dong) 77.8mm, Hoa Khanh (Dak Lak) 73.6mm, etc.
It is forecasted that in the evening and night of August 30, in the South Central region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 10-30mm, locally over 70mm.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will be hot, with some places experiencing severe heat with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 50-55%; from September 1, the heat in the Central region will continue to ease.
