Weather Forecast for tomorrow, October 19, cold air begins to flow to the North with scattered thunderstorms and decreasing temperatures.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the Southern Central Highlands and the Southern region will have rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall from 20-40mm, locally over 80mm; warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>80mm/6 hours).

Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.

From October 19 to 22, the North will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. The North is forecast to receive two consecutive cold air waves causing rain, decreasing temperatures, turning cold at night and in the morning, mountainous areas such as Sa Pa (Lao Cai) may be below 14 degrees Celsius.

The first cold front started on October 19 but only caused showers and thunderstorms in the mountainous areas, the temperature did not decrease significantly. The second cold front on October 22-23 strengthened, causing thunderstorms, the weather turned cold at night and in the morning.

Residents and tourists need to pay attention to weather conditions to proactively arrange travel schedules and outdoor activities.

Hanoi

Highest temperature: 30-32 degrees Celsius, some places above 32 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, some rain at night; rain during the day, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in the North early morning with scattered light fog; from tomorrow afternoon there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, and sunny during the day. Light winds. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Central Highlands

Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees Celsius, some places above 31 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy, in the North in the late afternoon and at night there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, sunny during the day; in the South there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain (rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening), tonight there will be moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Light wind. In thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Southern Vietnam

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees C.
Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees C.

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain (rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening), tonight there will be moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
