Around the evening and night of November 25, this cold air mass will affect the northeastern provinces, then affect the North Central, Northwest and Central Central regions.
From November 26, the weather in the North and North Central regions will turn cold, and in mountainous areas it will be freezing. The lowest temperature during this cold spell in the North and North Central regions will be from 16-18 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas 12-14 degrees Celsius, and in high mountainous areas below 10 degrees.
Tomorrow, the area from Thua Thien Hue to Binh Dinh will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 30-70mm, locally over 140mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/6 hours). From the afternoon of November 24, heavy rain will gradually decrease.
According to the warning, there is a possibility of a flood on the rivers from Thua Thien Hue to Binh Dinh. There is a high risk of flooding in low-lying areas along the rivers, flash floods and landslides on steep slopes in mountainous areas.
From tonight to the morning of November 24, in Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa, there will be scattered showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall from 10-30mm, locally over 50mm. Residents and tourists should be on guard during thunderstorms with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
