According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from tonight, November 4, cold air will continue to affect other places in the Northeast; then affect the North Central region, most places in the Northwest and some places in the Central Central region. Northeast wind inland is strong at level 3, coastal areas at level 4.

In the Northeast and North Central regions, it will be cold early tomorrow morning (November 5), and cold during the day. The lowest temperature during this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions will generally be from 17-19 degrees Celsius, and in mountainous areas, below 15 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area tonight and tomorrow morning will have rain and showers; cold at night and morning with the lowest temperature commonly 18-20 degrees Celsius; cold during the day with the common temperature 22-24 degrees Celsius.

Due to the influence of disturbances in the upper East wind zone combined with the strengthening of cold air, from now until November 6, in the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai, there will be heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall from 100-300mm, locally over 500mm. Warning of the risk of localized heavy rain (>150mm/6 hours).

From the evening of November 4 to the night of November 5, the Thanh Hoa-Nghe An area will have moderate to heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 50-150mm, and some places experiencing over 200mm.

In addition, in the South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions tomorrow, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, locally over 60mm (thunderstorms will be concentrated in the afternoon and evening). Residents and tourists should pay attention to the possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.
