On June 8, Hue City Department of Tourism said that Hue Lotus Festival 2026 with the theme "Ngu Lien Thuc Thuy" will take place from June 19 - 21 at Bong Lai Island, Tinh Tam Lake (Phu Xuan ward), within the framework of Hue Festival 2026.
The event is inspired by the beauty of lotus flowers in the Hue royal court cultural space, bringing a series of cultural, tourism, culinary and unique traditional craft village experiences.
During the 3 days of the festival, visitors can visit the real-scene lotus space on the lake surface with artistic miniatures, lighting systems and check-in areas imbued with Hue's imprint.
Many lotus products such as lotus tea, lotus cakes, lotus jam and handicrafts, souvenirs will be displayed and introduced at the event.
In addition, community workshops such as traditional lotus tea marinating, making Thanh Tien paper lotus flowers, experiencing lotus essential oil... are also organized to promote local cultural values and traditional handicrafts.
The highlight of the festival is the art program combined with culinary experience "Thuc Thuy Show" taking place on the evenings of June 19 - 21, with art performances and a fine dining party of 6 lotus dishes in Hue style.
According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, Hue Lotus Festival 2026 is expected to become a summer tourism highlight, contributing to diversifying tourism products and enhancing the experience for tourists when coming to Hue.
