In the days leading up to April 30, the sightseeing atmosphere in Hanoi became more bustling. According to records, at many tourist destinations, the number of visitors increased compared to normal days, especially in the morning and weekend.
The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is one of the destinations chosen by many people.
Spacious space, combining an indoor display area and an outdoor architecture area, brings visitors many diverse experiences.

In the outdoor area, works such as long houses, communal houses and models recreating the daily life of ethnic groups attract tourists to stop to visit and take photos.
Attentively visiting the outdoor area, Mr. Vu Viet Hoang (Phu Tho) said that he wants to explore many museums in Hanoi and has chosen the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology as the first destination during the holiday.

The museum is very large but reasonably arranged, showing that each ethnic group has its own characteristics and culture but is still a unified whole," Mr. Hoang shared.
Similarly, instead of spending time on simple entertainment activities, Le Minh Ngoc - a student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) chose to come to the museum to learn more about culture, origins as well as serve his studies.
I am most impressed with the costume display space. Each ethnic group has its own unique features, clearly expressed through costumes, which made me stop for quite a long time to observe" - Le Minh Ngoc said.
Besides domestic tourists, many international visitors also choose the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in their journey to explore Hanoi before the holidays.
Directly observing artifacts, traditional architecture and cultural space helps them better understand the life of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
Mr. Silviu, a tourist from Romania, highly appreciated the space arrangement and guidance system at the museum. According to him, reasonable arrangement helps tourists, especially foreigners, easily access and learn information.

Right from the moment I entered, I was very impressed. There are cultures that I only know when I come here. Vietnamese community culture is very rich. I especially like the hunting exhibition area in the highlands and may plan to go there to experience" - Mr. Silviu shared.
This interest shows that the needs of tourists to experience are gradually changing. Not only stopping at sightseeing, many people want to learn more deeply about the identity, history and life of ethnic groups in regions.
