During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, a large number of people and tourists from all over came to the Mausoleum to visit Uncle Ho.

Recorded on the morning of April 30, people from many provinces and cities and international tourists gathered in the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area from early morning. The line of people stretched along the covered path, moving slowly and orderly, waiting together for their turn to visit Uncle Ho.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (Hung Yen) said: "My family left at 6 am to be in time to queue. Although crowded, everyone is very conscious, not jostling. My children are visiting Uncle Ho for the first time, so they are very excited.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Tu (Hanoi) shared that on this occasion, his family did not travel far, so they decided to take their children to the Mausoleum to visit Uncle Ho. "I want my children to feel the solemn atmosphere here, to understand more about history, about Uncle Ho on this special occasion. This is also a way to teach children to be grateful and proud of the nation, not just learn through books," he said.

In the outer area, free drinking water, bread and milk distribution points operate continuously. Functional forces and volunteers stand in rows, quickly giving each gift to the people. Many people take advantage of receiving water and cakes to support before continuing to move.

According to the plan, the Hanoi Department of Tourism in coordination with the Command of the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh organizes a program to support drinking water, milk and bread during major holidays in 2026. Specifically for April 30 - May 1, about 45,000 gifts are prepared to serve people and tourists.

In total, during the year, the program is expected to provide about 110,000 gifts, distributed during peak periods such as April 30 - May 1, May 19 and National Day 2. 9. Gifts are prepared to suit the number of visitors at each time, ensuring timely service, avoiding shortages or waste.

The organization was deployed methodically, with coordination between units in arranging locations, receiving and distributing. Thanks to that, the gift distribution points operated orderly, without causing congestion, while still maintaining the solemnity of the Mausoleum area.

Not only carrying practical support meaning in hot weather conditions, this activity also contributes to creating a good impression of Hanoi's image in the eyes of tourists. Cool water bottles, milk boxes or simple loaves of bread become symbols of care and hospitality - small but persistent values that make up the attractiveness of the Capital.
