In 2025, the city welcomed about 14.5 million visitors, including 1.4 million international visitors, with total revenue of over 15,200 billion VND. In the first 3 months of 2026, Hai Phong tourism is estimated to welcome and serve nearly 3 million domestic and international visitors, with estimated revenue of over 3,500 billion VND.
After the merger, the connection between development spaces has formed a "multi-value", "multi-experience" tourism ecosystem: the Eastern region stands out with island and marine tourism, ecotourism; the Western region is rich in potential for cultural, spiritual tourism and craft villages... This support not only expands the development space, but also creates favorable conditions for the formation of unique, deep and highly competitive tourism products.
Along with the strong development of industrial parks and economic zones, Hai Phong is becoming an attractive destination for foreign investors, attracting a large number of experts and international workers to live and work; thereby forming a source of potential tourists with diverse needs, aiming for high-quality and high-experience products and services.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung requested tourism businesses to proactively innovate and build products suitable to the specific characteristics of FDI customers such as resort tourism, conference tourism, seminars (MICE), unique cultural and culinary experience programs, and business-connecting activities. At the same time, pay attention to improving service quality, professionalism and the ability to meet international standards.
The city also hopes that FDI enterprises will continue to pay attention and accompany the locality; actively use tourism services in Hai Phong, considering this not only as an essential need but also as part of a strategy to care for the lives of experts, workers and build corporate culture.
For departments, branches, associations and related agencies, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested to continue to promote the role of supporting and connecting businesses. In which, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism closely coordinates with the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board and related units to strengthen the connection between the tourism business community and the FDI business bloc. Along with that, proactively grasp, listen to and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles of businesses; gradually form synchronous, quality and highly competitive tourism product chains.
