In Hue City, the number of visitors increased sharply at the Citadel, tombs, pagodas, traditional craft villages and many attractions. The atmosphere on the central streets also became more lively and bustling than usual.
Besides tour customers, many families and groups of friends choose self-sufficient travel by personal vehicles to be proactive in their itinerary, extend their stay and experience local culture and cuisine.
According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, in 5 days (from April 29 to May 3), the total number of tourists to Hue City is estimated at about 610,000, an increase of 73.7% compared to the same period last year.
In which, international visitors are estimated at 164,000, an increase of 129%. Tourism revenue is estimated at 1,350 billion VND, an increase of 85% compared to the same period last year.
The average room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments is estimated to reach 99%.
